THE THINGS THAT
MAKE US PROUD
Our success story began back in 1962 and has since continued unchanged, with the 3rd generation of the founding family now at the helm. Our mindset and work are governed by an interdisciplinary approach. As a result, we are a member of several important chambers and associations:
- Ingenieurkammer Baden-Württemberg (BI B-W)
- Architektenkammer Baden-Württemberg (AKBW)
- Verband Beratender Ingenieure (VBI)
- Foodservice Consultants Society International (FCSI)
Engineering finesse, a pioneering spirit and passion have guided our work since day one. Over the years, these attributes have led to several flagship projects considered groundbreaking in the field of commercial kitchens and refrigeration technology in close partnership with our customers.

Freezing cells (-75° C) used in the pharmaceutical industry
We were faced with the challenge of developing a freezing cell capable of constantly maintaining a temperature of -75°C under strict time constraints - with the corresponding scale. To date, these kinds of sensitive products could only be stored in fridge-sized storage facilities.
MEGA COOKING CENTER - VIENNA
The challenge with this project was its scope: Cooking & cooling 65,000 meals each day
SYSTEM DESCRIPTION tunnel freezer
- The system needed to cool/freeze the 65,000 meals produced each day at the production plant
- Precise cooling/freezing to the required core temperature within the specified time
- After production, the food is placed in sealed containers on shelf trolleys (tray trolleys) and moved into the cooling/freezing tunnels.
- The shock freezing tunnel can hold a total of 72 tray trolleys, which are cooled in six tunnel chambers.
- Each of the six tunnel chambers consists of a thermally enclosed room, the supporting structure made of galvanized steel to house the required
Air cooler with fans and the air deflectors - An air-cooled refrigeration system with economizer mode and flooded evaporation supplies the six tunnel chambers with refrigeration
(pump operated) - The refrigeration/freezing tunnels are situated on the ground floor of the building with the refrigeration system above on the top floor.
- An automatic, mechanical conveyor moves the shelf trolleys through the tunnel
- Each tunnel has three zones with variable airflow rates. The transport speed also varies

LOW-NOISE
COLD STORAGE
Logistics centre for the food industry
Over 500,000 m2 draught-free and low-noise cooling distribution for a pleasant work environment
- Air ducts integrated in the ceiling distribute the air downward evenly without drafts and without any noise pollution from fans
- The flat ceiling permits flexible installation for lighting, sprinkler racks and subsequent modifications to the racks.
- Easy external maintenance and cleaning of the evaporators during use
- Safety and optimum space utilisation ensured by installing the refrigeration components outside of the cold store.
- No ice formation or defrosting heat in the cold store leads to reduced operating costs and increased occupational safety
